Last modified: September 28, 2009 - 8:38 PM

Your Questions Answered

Three days of community and stakeholder information meetings were held in Broken Hill July 16-18, 2009 to provide information and receive comments about National Heritage Listing.

The most frequently asked questions was whether National Heritage listing would affect local properties - homes and businesses.  To find out more, get a copy of Fact Sheet 3  - National Heritage Listing for Broken Hill?  Answers to your questions.  A short summary of responses to the recent on-line community survey: Fact Sheet 4 - What makes Broken Hill special? is also on the website.

The two earlier fact sheets are still available:  Fact Sheet 1 gives an overview on the National Heritage Listing process and Fact Sheet 2 explains how the listing may affect you and the city and how you can comment.

A range of other information on the National Heritage List can be found at http://www.heritage.gov.au/.
