Volunteer High Tea

Celebrating Volunteering in Broken Hill, the High Tea is a chance for volunteers across the community to come together and enjoy an evening celebrating their achievements and commitment to our community.

The High Tea incorporates the presentation of the Volunteer Awards and the Nydia Edes Volunteer Hall of Fame.

Please note - volunteer organisations are able to book a maximum of 10 tickets.

VOLUNTEER AWARDS

The Broken Hill Community Volunteer Awards will be presented to outstanding volunteers, groups and organisations across a range of areas in Broken Hill and the region. Nominees must be current or recently retired volunteers/not-for-profit organisations or groups and will be recognised for work undertaken. These awards will be presented at the Volunteer High Tea on Tuesday 28 May 2024.

Awards are presented in the following categories: Community, Cultural, Environment, Event, Health and Social Services, Manager / Supervisor, Tourism, Sporting, Youth, Emergency Services and People's Choice.

Submissions received after 5pm 10 May 2024 will not be considered.
