CBD alcohol-free zone expanded

Residents are advised that the traditional Alcohol-free zone in the city's central business district (CBD) has been expanded.

The zone's boundary has been expanded from Wills Street to include parts of Gypsum Street, Gaffney Street, and South Road (see map above).

The expansion has been made to incorporate licensed premises and establishments supplying alcohol, and will come into effect from June 25.

All other existing alcohol free zones across the city remain in force.
