Information session for hirers

Regular hirers of Council's outdoor areas are encouraged to come along to an upcoming information session after Council refined some of its booking processes.

 

The session will cover new booking forms, public liability requirements, changes to the Food Standards Code, and general event information.

 

Council's Community Development Coordinator, Rachel Merton, said the changes had been made after a review of the organisation's booking processes.

 

"These changes have been made to ensure we continue to meet all public liability requirements and other legislative measures with regard to the hiring of public spaces," said Ms Merton.

 

"We just want to chat with our key stakeholders to ensure the changes to our booking practices are understood and we create a smooth transition for everyone, particularly our regular users and suppliers."
